Ratchet releases the opponent from the Suck Cannon before Clank zaps them with a green, energy beam from his antenna. The Suck Cannon malfuctions breifly, inflicting damage on the enemy within it. Ratchet pulls out the Suck Cannon and activates its sucking feature, pulling in the nearest opponent. If a shot from Ratchet's Forward Tilt, or Neutral Air hits the magma ball, it will create an explosion.Įquip the Buzz blades and fire multiple shots that ricochet off surfaces. Ratchet shoots magma energy into the air overhead that quickly burns itself out, but scorches any foes above them while in midair, the attack will repeadtly attack the opponent until it disappears. This attack can be done while Ratchet is attacking. Stronger than the Jab combo.Ĭlank takes out the Nitro Launcher while in midair and fires a grenade from behind Ratchet. Similar to his Forward Tilt, except he shoots his Constructo Pistol in the air. The attack has meteor smash hitboxes while the beginning of the move.Ĩ% (Meteor), 13% (Lowest) - 25% (Highest) Ratchet will jump up, and slam his OmniWrench at the ground. Ratchet pulls out the Warmonger, and aims it diagonally upwards. The attack itself as a fairly long range, and it has windboxes on the sides of the blast. However, an indicator will appear above Ratchet and Clank, and the attack will deal more damage if it's released at a specific time. This attack has a special feature that makes it unique as a Forward Smash, as it doesn't automaticlly go on to the attack animation after charing the attack. Ratchet pulls out his Sonic Distruptor and fires it forward. Ratchet swings his OmniWrench forwards at a ground level. It has amazing range, and stuns the opponent for a while. Ratchet swings the Lighting Ravenger over his head, similar to Link's up tilt.
While he has his Constructo Pistol out, he can't use his Jab, Forward Smash, or Dash/Dash Attack. However, it takes a while before Ratchet resets to his normal stance. This is similar to Megaman's forward tilt, as Ratchet can move around. Ratchet pulls out Constructo Pistol and shoots forwards. Ratchet slashes forward with his Omniwrench, dashing forwards a little. Based on the basic combo in many Ratchet and Clank games.
Ratchet does a quick three-hit combo with his wrench (starts with a swing to the left, then a swing to the right, and finishes by spinning around and swinging to the right). Ratchet also struggles against characters with reflection tools. However, Ratchet struggles the most with characters who get close or can pressure him into making mistakes. Many of his projectiles also don't have much lag, allowing him to be able to quickly move around and attack. Nearly all of his attacks are projectiles or long ranged attacks, allowing him to be able to hit his opponents and rack up damage from a safe distance. Ratchet biggest strength is his range and projectiles. Ratchet is able to play at many ranges and is able to maitain stage control. Overall, Ratchet is a heavy character, having a high falling speed, slow moving, and high gravity, being the smallest heavy weight in the game. Ratchet and Clank aren't much of a duo, but more of a support team, with Ratchet doing the fighting and Clank assisting, causing many unique attributes to happen for the team.
